Chateau du Bousquet is a ruby red color with glimmers of dark crimson. The nose is typical for wines from this estate, with powerful scents of black fruit and vanilla, and a warm hint of toast. Dense and full of character on the palate with perfect balance. Nicely crafted tannins lead to a good, persistent finish.
Blend: 65% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Malbec and 5% Cabernet Franc

A terrific, possibly outstanding wine, the 2018 Château Du Bousquet checks in as a mix of 65% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, and the balance Malbec and Cabernet Franc. It offers pretty notes of black cherries, leafy herbs, underbrush, and touches of graphite and spring flowers. Medium-bodied, with a supple rounded, elegant texture and terrific overall balance, drink it over the coming 7-8 years.

Composed of 65% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Malbec and 5% Cabernet Franc, the deep garnet-purple colored 2018 du Bousquet has fragrant red and black cherries, mulberries and redcurrants with hints of cinnamon stick and dusty soil. The medium-bodied palate is refreshing, elegant and juicy with a soft texture and red berry-laced finish.
