Aromas of red-skinned berry, tobacco and blue flower take center stage. The easygoing palate shows juicy Marasca cherry, cinnamon and a touch of star anise alongside lithe tannins.

The 2015 Chianti Classico shows overtly sweet fruit flavors at the first sip. The bouquet is fragrant and bright with ripe cherry, blueberry and more primary notes to follow. The wine is simple and delineated with a nice progression of Sangiovese flavors to keep your attention. Pair this Chianti Classico with spicy onion and sausage pizza. Some 120,000 bottles were made.
